How MentorHunt handles mentor recruitment information.
This policy explains what information we collect through our mentor recruitment pages and campaign links, how we use it, and how we protect it while we recruit new mentors for MentorHunt.
What we collect
Information you choose to give us and basic campaign data.
- Name, email, phone number, organization or school, role interest, time commitment, background, and message when someone submits the mentor form.
- Campaign attribution data such as UTM parameters, referrer, channel, and link content so we can measure which posts and placements work best.
- Basic interaction events such as page views, form starts, clicks, inquiries, and publish or delivery status that help us run the recruitment system.
How we use it
We use information to recruit mentors and improve the campaign.
- Respond to mentor inquiries and follow up about volunteering or mentor placement.
- Understand which messages, channels, and creative formats lead to the most qualified interest.
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the MentorHunt mentor recruitment site and related publishing workflow.
- Keep internal records about outreach performance and the status of submitted mentor leads.
Sharing
We keep sharing limited to what is needed to run the site.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We may share information with service providers that help host the site, send alerts, store records, or support publishing and analytics.
- We may also share information if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the site.
Your choices
How to control your information.
- If you do not want to submit personal information, do not complete the mentor form.
- If you need to update or remove a mentor inquiry, contact us at info@e3rc.org.
- If you click out to LinkedIn, Facebook, or another platform, that platform's privacy policy applies to activity there.
This site is intended for adults who want to mentor. If a student is interested in getting involved, please have a parent or guardian handle the mentor form.
Retention and security
How long we keep information and how we protect it.
We keep mentor inquiries and campaign records for as long as they are needed for follow-up, reporting, and reasonable recordkeeping, then delete or de-identify them when appropriate. We use access controls and hosted services to help protect the data we store, and we limit access to authorized operators.
